Pricing and billing
How billing works on seenode, the free trial, and the price of applications, databases, and storage.

seenode uses credit-based billing. Packages have fixed monthly prices. You add credits; we deduct them daily for what’s running. High traffic never increases the bill.
Tip (7-day free trial)
New accounts get a 7-day free trial, no credit card required. The trial starts when you create your first application or database. It covers a Basic application (web, worker, or private) and a Basic database. Static sites are always $0 and do not use the trial. After the trial, add credits to keep paid services running.
Static sites
Static site hosting from Git. No container at request time: publish HTML, CSS, and JS.

Applications (web, worker, and private)
Web, worker, and private services share the same instance packages. Deploy from Git or a Docker image. Credits are deducted daily while the service runs.
- Public HTTPS for web (
*.seenode.appplus optional custom domains) - Worker and private have no public URL; private HTTP is workspace-network only
- Change instance size anytime from Settings → Upgrade instance
- Each replica is billed at the same instance price
- Optional persistent volumes on a single replica

Daily rates are each package’s production daily price (monthly price ÷ 30.4375 average days). The monthly column is the fixed full-month total.
Databases
Managed PostgreSQL or MySQL. New databases start on Basic or Standard. Reach them from apps over the private network or publicly; wire credentials with Link a database.

Persistent storage
Attach a volume to a web, worker, or private service at $0.50 per GB per month. Static sites have no volumes. A service with a volume attached must run with a single replica.

Credits and top-up
Top up from Buy more credits in the workspace menu in amounts of $10, $25, $50, or $100. Payment is handled by Stripe. Credits never expire.
Enable auto top-up (“Low credit prevention”) to add credits automatically when your remaining balance is under about 9 days of usage. With low credit prevention on, top-ups of $25 or more earn bonus credits:

FAQ
How does billing work?
Packages have a fixed monthly price. You add credits; we deduct them daily for services that are running. High traffic never increases the bill: a Basic app costs $4/mo if it runs the whole month, no matter how many requests it gets. Stop it sooner and you only pay for the time it ran.
What does the free trial cover?
Seven days, no card required. It covers one Basic application (web, worker, or private) and one Basic database. Static sites are always free and do not consume the trial.
How do replicas affect the price?
Each replica is billed at the full instance price. For three Basic replicas:
3 × $4/mo = $12/mo
You are charged that total for as long as they run.
Are static sites ever charged?
No. Static hosting is $0. There is no compute package, replica count, or volume to bill.
